Keto Eating Log Comments
Here is one of my simple and quick meals – taco salad with ground beef, sauteed onions & peppers, then I normally add-on various cheeses, sour cream, avocado or tomatoes.
On this day, I didn’t have avocados but that didn’t make it less delicious.
The next item you’ll see is Brownies. You may be thinking, “hmmm, that’s not keto.”
They are, in fact, keto brownies from The Ketogenic Cookbook: Nutritious Low-Carb, High-Fat Paleo Meals to Heal Your Body. The ingredients are simple: eggs, butter, chocolate and Swerve erythritol sweetener. And they are goooood. Not exactly like a flour brownie, but it does more than satisfy your sweet tooth.
One of the ways I’ll eat the brownie is bathed in heavy cream – well, at least a few tablespoons!
Then I finished the day off with two snacks – Cashews and Deviled Eggs.
All in all, this was a pretty solid day of macros where I got my requisite amount of fat, just about enough protein and kept my carb total under 25 grams, including fiber.
